(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 21, 2008 ) Waynesville, NC- One of the reasons for FeldmanÂ’s move to the beautiful area of Waynesville and Maggie Valley nestled in the beautiful Smokey Mountains was because of the 4 distinct seasons of the year. "You can almost set your watch to it," Feldman said. One of the most beautiful seasons is now coming to an end. The fall season in Waynesville (also known as Haywood County) was, as Feldman said, "spectacular this year." "the ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway winding into the Ashville area was just breathtaking. I had to stop at every scenic overlook and just stare in awe of the brilliant colors."
This area has become a very popular tourist area during the fall season for tourists not only going on leaf tours, but to take advantage of all the local attractions. Catalloochee opened early for skiing and a lot of the tourists drove the extra 19 miles into Cherokee to try their luck at HarrahÂ’s Casino. Feldman said one of the most beautiful rides to take during leaf season is hoping on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Cherokee which leads your right into Gatlinburg. Feldman said on a good day there are many bear sightings on that particular stretch.
Feldman loves this time of the year for all the arts and craft festivals held in Waynesville and Maggie Valley. “This year’s Apple Festival brought out thousands of tourists. The cloggers were out dancing and a good time was had by all."
Feldman reiterates, no matter your budget he can help you find your dream home here in the mountains.
