Texas Emu Farmer Goes Farm to Finish

Today McLaughlin runs a profitable farm to finish emu operation in Hillsboro, TX. The Certified Business Member (CBM) program was originally set up to enable the American Emu Association (AEA) to refer consumers to companies able to respond quickly and professionally to inquiries for emu oil or meat. Partial use of the CBM program fees in the past have included development of an infomercial, press releases and their distribution as well as production of oil and meat brochures. The program opens for sign-ups in January and closes March 20th each year.
