RowlingÂ’s Harry Potter novels. This complete collection consists of eight fantasy movies that are distributed by Warner Bros. It began in 2001 with Harry Potter and the SorcererÂ’s Stone and ends with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II in 2011. The seventh and last novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is split into two motion pictures. Deathly Hallows - Part 1 was shown in November 2010, while while Part 2 was released on July 15th, 2011.
Produced by David Heyman, the Harry Potter movie franchise stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint who play the three main characters of the series, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley respectively. The series made $7.7 billion at the box office worldwide, making Harry Potter the highest grossing film series of all time. All of the eight movies belong in the “top 40 highest grossing films of all time”.
There were four directors who worked on the film franchise. They are David Yates, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell and Chris Columbos. Harry Potter The Complete Collection release date for DVD and Blu-ray is on November 11, 2011.
