Shinobi is about the story story of Jiro Musashi, the Oboro clan leader. Jiro is the father of Joe Musashi who is the Shinobi hero of the first iterations. Players will use JiroÂ’s ninja magic to defeat enemies and overcome obstacles. Players are able to use the new combo system feature where they can switch from melee to ranged to acrobatic attacks. With Shinobi game, players will be transformed into true ninja masters.

Shinobi 3DS also features up to 60 in-game achievements that are unlockable for the players to use or wear, as well as challenge maps to participate in.
