Sarah's Key, the Captivating Movie Based on the New York TImes Bestselling Novel is Coming Out to DVD and Blu-ray in November Says Pre Order Madness

The movie is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same title by author Tatiana de Rosnay. This French drama is under the Weinstein Company Studio and has a powerhouse cast led by Kristin Scott Thomas, Niels Arestrup, Frederic Pierrot, Melusine Mayance and Aidan Quinn.

The Sarahs Key movie consists of two main stories; the first one is set during the World War II, and second one is set in present times. The modern-day story is about an investigation about the past. the past. However, the movie reveals a connection between the past and the present. Director Gilles Paquet-Brenner creates excellent work of switching the two settings back-and-forth.

The scenes from the past tell an emotional story and have a more dramatic attack. A young girl named Sarah from a Parisian Jew family was swept up in the deportation raid on July 16, 1942 by the French police at the time of the German occupation in World War II. Sarah, together with over 13, 000 other non-French Jewish families were shipped to Auschwitz and murdered there. But not before she sends her younger brother into hiding on the day of the notorious raid. The present-day journalist, Julia Jarmond, begins a research about the VelÂ’ dÂ’Hiv Roundup. The movie is thrown off balance when JarmondÂ’s life starts to connect with this particular time in the history.
