(EstateNewsWire.com, October 20, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA- The former Nickelodeon star of such programs as “All That” and “The Amanda Bynes Show” locked herself in her West Hollywood dressing room for two hours, reported TMZ.
The incident occurred Monday, where Bynes was shopping at Los Angeles boutique Kin. Bynes reportedly retreated to the room for nearly two hours according to shopping attendants. Bynes reportedly tried to leave with a bathing suit underneath her clothing, noticeably disoriented. The star then took a cab and left the store.
Bynes has been in the news for multiple erratic behavioral incidents including clipping a police car last spring. On Sunday, her car was impounded after she was found driving with a suspended license. Earlier that week, Bynes was said to be seen smoking from a pipe whilst in her car.
The persistent troubles for Bynes have sparked comparisons to Lindsay Lohan. Bynes insists that she does not need help. Uncle Ronald Bynes told Celebuzz simply, “She needs to stop drinking and driving… she needs help.”
TMZ has reported that Bynes denies any substance or mental health issues, and that the driving incidents have been blown out of proportion. Her current statements to that matter echo what she has been stating since her first encounter with the law. In May, Bynes tweeted "I can't help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me... I was not in any hit and runs. I don't drink so the DUI is false."
