(EstateNewsWire.com, January 17, 2013 ) San Francisco, CA -- Manchester City, last year's English Premiere League Winners, have agreed to a deal with Fabulous Fan Fare, which is a start-up joint venture between the TV chef Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Fest company, and the Legends Hospitality.
The report was released by SportsPro, which noted the agreement will fall into effect in August of 2013, in parallel to the start of the new season. Fabulous Fan Fare will be providing all hospitality and catering services to the stadium, including public concessions, hospitality areas for fans in City's zones at Etihad Stadium. The deal also will cover non-match event catering.
Fabulous Fan Fare will replace the Lindley Venue Catering company, which had been in partnership with Manchester City for over one decade.
Oliver is well known within the United Kingdom, on the strength of his many television shows, Legends Hospitality is best known for its work under contract with the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees' Yankee stadium.
“It is our ambition to create a world class customer experience for everybody who visits the Etihad Stadium,” said Tom Glick, chief commercial and operating officer for Manchester City, who currently lie second in the Premier League.

The CEO and chairman of Legends Hospitality, Dave Checketts, stated that the company's expansion into the UK market was a long time in the making. “We have long sought out to expand our footprint internationally and think Manchester City and Etihad Stadium are the perfect start and fit quite well with our stable of iconic venues."
