Beach Location
Sunny Beach is located in the southern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, stretching along a beautiful semicircular bay facing eastwards.
The Sunny Beach resort occupies practically the entire territory and is approximately 35km north of the province of Burgas.
The resort's construction started back in 1958, during the communism period. The site is situated where two old wells supplied the ancient city of Nesebar with water during the Middle-Ages.
Hot Temptations
The sand on Sunny Beach is very fine and in some places natural sand-dunes have formed. The beach strip goes on for more than 8 km and is about 50 meters wide.
