Equipped with H.264 video compression and a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor for excellent sensitivity and spectral response, the Marshall Newscaster delivers incredibly sharp, colorful, and detailed images over the internet and is the perfect solution for retail stores, construction projects, factories, and other industries where remote monitoring is essential to loss prevention.
Settable resolutions include 15fps at 1600x1200, 25fps at 1200 x 960 and 30fps at 1200 x 720. x 720. Smooth H.264 compression, low background noise, and film-like colors produce high quality images for demanding remote viewing applications, and the Newscaster includes a 720p setting compatible with big screen HDTVs.
Housed in a sealed casing with optional outdoor enclosure available, the Marshall Newscaster captures high quality HD images via a web browser, plus any hard disk on the network can be set up to record the video output. The Marshall Newscaster is simple to set up and provides significant advantages within industrial settings, including a large image format that captures greater detail and a wider field of view. Other features include line-level audio input and SD recording and snapshot for viewing still images.
The Marshall Newscaster connects directly to existing IP networks, thus eliminating the need for expensive coaxial cable networks, and provides full motion 1600 x 1200 resolution images from the comfort and safety of the boardroom, office or virtually any location with an internet connection.
