Sellers Listing Homes in Macomb Appreciate Performance with Honesty and Integrity

(EMAILWIRE.COM, August 27, 2010 ) Macomb, MI – Home listings are abundant today and asking prices are low. When supplies are up and demand is low, people can buy a home for a great price. Selling a home isn’t so easy. These conditions are known as a buyers’ market. With more home listings to choose from, buyers can be picky, so sellers have to apply more effort and be patient.

Sam Cicala is a straight talk realtor who has lived in Macomb County all his life, so he is very familiar with the current housing market. According to Sam, any property will sell if it is marketed correctly.

Sam believes too many people make the mistake of listing homes for more than they will sell for in today’s market. “A home should be priced based on a recent market analysis of similar homes in the area that have sold in the last 6 months,” said Cicala. “Don’t waste your time testing the market with an inflated price. This will only increase the amount of time your home is on the market while other homes are being sold.”

Sam Cicala understands that sellers want a certain amount in proceeds when they sell their home; however, they wont’ get the results they want by over-pricing their home. “I would rather be honest up front and tell my client exactly what I think their home is worth, based on a complete market analysis. I’m not afraid they will take their home listing to another agent. In fact, I have discovered that people appreciate honesty and integrity.”

Once he determines the value of the home, Sam Cicala will explain how he came to the asking price and see if this will work for his client. “Chances are, a seller will decide to wait a year or two if market conditions don’t allow them to sell their home for the price they want. I would rather lose the listing than waste their time trying to list a home for more than a buyer will pay.”

Sam Cicala will not waste a clientÂ’s time. Sam is a straight talk realtor who presents the true facts so his clients can make an informed and educated decision as to buying a home or selling a home. Visit http://listinghomemacomb.blogspot.com/ to learn more.
