A summary of the results:
• 40% of participants were being committed to additional savings of 6 to 10% of annual spend, and at least 8% experiencing increases greater than 10%.
• 80% of participants responded that top management expected them to improve the overall value contribution of Procurement.
• Nearly 60% said that they were asked to identify new sources for cost reductions, while enhancing the overall scope and control of spend.
