(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 11, 2011 ) Plano, TX -- According to Fox News DFW, a faulty water heater pipe was the cause of a carbon monoxide scare in Frisco in early October. A group of 50 people, mostly teenagers preparing for their high school homecoming, were inside a local salon when several individuals began to feel dizzy. Of the 50 people inside the salon, 15 were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and observation.
Although no one was seriously injured in this incident, the Plano plumbers of ALD Plumbing urge home and business owners to have their water heaters checked for safety concerns. As the winter months approach, inclement weather could cause these machines to become unreliable. Having a professional plumbing team investigate water heaters is the best way to avoid a life-threatening accident.
