Fluidmaster No Burst Lines Under Investigation for Alleged Product Defect

(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 09, 2011 ) New York, NY – Class Action.org is investigating whether Fluidmaster No Burst braided stainless steel supply lines are defective. It has been alleged that the company used substandard materials when constructing this product, which as a result, can leak, burst or rupture. If the company knew about these water supply line problems and failed to disclose this risk to the public, it may be liable for any resulting damages. If your property is installed with the Fluidmaster No-Burst braided stainless steel supply lines, you may be able to seek financial compensation. To find out if you are eligible, visit http://www.classaction.org/fluidmaster-no-burst-supply-lines.html for a free, no obligation case review.

Although advertised as being “tough,” “reinforced,” and “heavy duty,” it has been alleged that, due to poor material selection, the Fluidmaster No Burst braided steel supply lines can rupture or burst, causing severe flood damage. The company allegedly used an inferior grade of stainless steel which can leave the lines susceptible to corrosion from everyday household cleaners. Additionally, the company used a low pressure-rated inner water carrying tubing which can herniate and rupture if the support provided by the exterior stainless steel braiding is lost, according to the allegations. It is believed that, in or around 2003, Fluidmaster tried to fix the defect when it redesigned its No-Burst lines to feature higher pressure-rated tubing, so as to prevent the supply lines from rupturing in instances where the stainless steel braiding was compromised.

Allegedly, the No Burst products which are prone to water supply line problems are still being used across the country. The product can be easily identified, as the word “Fluidmaster USA” is stamped or etched on the crimp sleeve at the end of the line. If you owned a No Burst braided stainless steel supply line or acquired a property in which this product was installed, you may be able to seek compensation for damages. To learn more about a potential Fluidmaster lawsuit, visit Class Action.org today. On the site, consumers can learn more about Fluidmaster leaks and other alleged problems, as well as receive a free case review which can help determine whether they can seek compensation for damages.
