(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 03, 2012 ) WASHINGTON, DC – Washington, DC-based real estate developer and investor, Gary Nordheimer, together with Nordheimer Company partners Brad and Rod Nordheimer, and others, have purchased an apartment building located at 1023 14th Street, S.E. in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
The Nordheimer Company worked closely with the building association and its tenants to come to a formal understanding of how the building will be maintained and managed. Under the new ownership, tenants’ apartments will be renovated, the common area around the building will be updated, and new security features will be added to the apartment building’s front entrance. “Brad and Rod have been great at forging relationships with the building tenants,” says Gary Nordheimer. “We wanted to make sure they understood our vision,” he says. “We plan to be long-term owners and make it a priority to create a wonderful home environment.”
The newly-purchased apartment building, located not far from the U.S. Capitol, is four blocks from the Potomac Metro subway station and area shopping. “We’re committed to investing in the Washington, D.C. area,” says Nordheimer. “I feel confident that the rental market will remain strong.” The Nordheimer Company also plans to build multi-family units on the lot next to 1023 14th Street, S.E., further adding to the area’s rental options.
