They raise money for these organizations through both online auctions and live bidding events. Charitybuzz is holding an auction in support of the Fourth Annual Chevy Chase Green School Auction which helps raise money for The Center for Environmental Education Online founded by Jayni and Chevy Chase. Proceeds from the auction will ultimately go towards providing in-service teachers with the environmental education materials and resources they need for their classroom. Bidders will have a chance to spend one day on the set with famous actress Cameron Diaz. Ms. Diaz also takes an active role in protecting the environment, partnering with Gwenyth Paltrow, the Union of Concerned Scientists, and the Environmental Media Association to put into action Act Green an organization devoted to conserving energy and reducing oil dependency.
