(EstateNewsWire.com, August 03, 2012 ) New York, NY -- When thinking of a Daddy Blog one probably thinks…wait a minute, there are Daddy Blogs? Yes, for years, Mom Blogs have ruled the web and have evolved into sophisticated sites offering everything from recipes to heart felt parenting advice. While Dad Blogs are still not nearly as popular as Mom Blogs, 2012 did see a significant rise in self described daddy bloggers.
A quick search in Google for “daddy bloggers” reveals over 5 million sites. Interestingly, a search for “mommy bloggers” reveals just over 3 million sites. Of course a Google search is not a scientific way to measure the amount of Mommy or Daddy bloggers, but it does show that Daddy Bloggers are becoming more active in 2012.
One Dad Blog, DadDoes.Com, has decided to turn its focus to hard hitting, honest product reviews geared toward parents. The tag line of the site is “The Place Where Dads Do Things and Review Things”, but it has now evolved into a site that focuses on parents and makes little distinction between Moms and Dads.

Dad Does is now focusing its attention on the toys that are now being released in preparation for the 2012 holiday season. It is in August and September that the toy companies start to release the toys that they hope will be the hot toys for the 2012 holiday season.
To help parents figure out which new toys are the winners and which should be avoided, Dad Does is doing full product reviews of all the new toys. This week they reviewed the new Matchbox Big Boots Ambusher Dino Adventure Squad. The Big Boots figures are made so they always land on their feet and the Ambusher vehicle has numerous ways to fling the figures at the T-Rex.
In the hands-on video review that Dad Does produced, they explained how they were impressive with the play value of the Matchbox Big Boots Ambusher and impressed that the toy did not use any batteries.
