Inspired to come up with another green idea, Vandenberg learned how some people use the flammable lint to start a fire with good use, like a bon fire or BBQ. He learned that another customer actually made modeling clay out of lint and water to entertain her children on a rainy day.
“Regular dryer vent cleaning service will help dryers operate safely and efficiently,” said Vandenberg. “The lint screen should be cleaned after every load. Most people just throw it out, but some actually come up with great ideas like stuffing to repair stuffed animals or putting it in a mesh bag and hanging it near a bird feeder as a contribution toward their nesting material.”
