Mike Tyson Makes Hip Hop News

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 11, 2007 ) Sydney, Australia -- You got to love how internet gossip takes off. It is like a high speed game of Chinese whispers. Somebody writes some made up story somewhere, a few other people reproduce it. Soon enough it has spread like chicken flu and is popping up in 'reputable' publications such as the Sydney Morning Herald. It happened a month ago, making hip hop news, with a false story about Beyonce and Eva Longoria taking roles as lesbian lovers in a film adaptation of Sarah Water's novel Tipping The Velvet about repressed sexuality in the 1890s. After the story had already done the rounds, Eva came out and set the record straight. "Stop the madness. Believe me, I would love to work with Beyonce one day. She's so talented. But this is definitely not something we are doing together. It's completely and absolutely not true. Beyonce and I just did the L'Oreal event a couple of days ago and we were like: 'What is the deal?'. What makes me crazy is that there are quotes out there, quotes from me saying it's true. But in fact it's not true. And there are quotes from Beyonce saying it's about time we had a female 'Brokeback Mountain'. And we're like: 'We never said that' ", the actress told People Magazine, thus putting an end to all your perverted fantasies coming true. This time the media typhoon started up around a story that Hollywood's madam Heidi Fless had hired Mike Tyson as her prize "stallion" in her new stud farm in Nevada. Iron Mike who has earned and lost $100 million was supposedly reduced to pimping himself out in a high-class legal brothel for women. Numerous reports have surfaced with Heidi quoted as saying "I told him, 'You're going to be my big stallion.' It's every man's fear that their girlfriend will go for Mike Tyson". And Mike confirming the story saying "I don't care what any man says. It's every man's dream to please every woman no matter how old, how young, how fat, how pretty, how ugly, it's every man's dream to please every woman and, and especially get paid for it." Now hold up ladies, before you put your house up for some Iron Mike tough loving, it has now come outthat the rumours were nothing but hogs-wallop as Heidi's publicist, Charles Lago, tells the Las Vegas Review Journal the story was a "ridiculous hoax". Furthermore, Iron Mike also confirms the denial; "I am not working with Heidi Fleiss nor have anything to do with her new business. There is no truth to these rumours." I guess it is just another case of don't believe everything you read in hip hop news.
